Dave Ragan

Associate

After a 30 year career as a dentist, Dave traded in his little tools for big ones. Having volunteered with Habitat for Humanity in new home construction for over 15 years, he is very comfortable with all aspects of home repair and remodeling. Dave's primary objective is delivering quality work for our clients and he feels that TriOval Associates work very well together for successful projects, both large and small.

Jon shavor

Associate

Jon had a 30 year career as a software engineer.  After retiring in 2011, he started volunteering to build new homes with Habitat for Humanity.  He continues to contribute to Habitat by leading and teaching home building tasks to other volunteers.

Another retirement hobby Jon has been enjoying is woodworking.  He has built many projects such as tables, chairs, cabinets, book cases, canoe paddles, kitchen utensils, spice racks, cutting boards, and more.  Woodworking is very challenging, but very rewarding when a project comes together.

Jon enjoys the challenge working with the TriOval team.  The goal is to efficiently complete projects with the highest quality.  The team needs to be creative by make many design decisions during the execution of the project to achieve this goal.

Kevin Mcintire

Associate

Kevin has been working in home construction and repair, small remodeling projects, and wood working for ~8 years; first through volunteering with Appalachia Service Project and Habitat for Humanity and more recently through projects for local friends and family in the triangle area. He recently signed on as the Master Carpenter for the Cary Players’ upcoming production of Clue, coming in Fall 2022.

Kevin feels that a house is a personal and cherished space. He knows the value of making dinner in an intentionally designed kitchen or relaxing on an airy back porch with friends. He enjoys the variety of projects his work gives him, and he brings his meticulous nature to every job.

Prior to his career in home remodeling and wood working, Kevin worked as a research scientist in the field of muscle physiology for ~13 years. Despite keeping busy with his new career, his services are still in high demand at his Cary home where his wife and 2 daughters keep him busy with many projects, including a Little Free Library and custom entertainment center, and an ever-growing list of new projects.
